Tia Mowry is Currently Unemployed

Yesterday news broke that actress Tia Mowry was let go from BET’s low rated The Game television series. It seems that Mowry, 33, found out about her dismissal from the show right around the same time that the rest of us did.
In fact, Tia was a guest on Wendy Williams on Tuesday, and she didn’t mention a word about being fired from the show. Inside sources say Wendy is seething because she thinks Tia knew she was fired and was holding back because she didn’t want Wendy to break the news on her show first.
But Mowry is telling friends she had no idea that she was unemployed.

Deion Sanders Ordered to Pay Pilar Sanders $10.5K Per Month, $275K in Legal Fees

It isn’t all bad news for socialite Pilar Sanders, who was tossed into a Texas jail last month for assaulting her estranged husband, NFL great Deion Sanders.
According to ABC News, Sanders, 44, has been ordered by a Texas court to pay 38-year-old Pilar $10,500 per month in child support for their three children and $275,000 in legal fees.
Sanders filed for divorce from Pilar in December after finding love in the arms of songwriter Babyface’s ex-wife, Tracey Edmonds.
But Pilar is a bitter, vindictive woman who decided not to move out of Deion’s sprawling $5.7 million Prosper, Texas mansion, despite the fact that Pilar reportedly has her own home in Celina, Texas.

HOT 97 (NY) listeners flooded the station with angry calls the day after President Barack Obama endorsed same-sex marriage. A majority of the listeners agreed that Obama’s opinion was clearly politically motivated, and intended to score points with the gay community.
A rumor is going around that Obama met with influential and powerful gay donors at the home of actor George Clooney, where Obama received millions in donations and a promise to deliver gay votes if Obama endorsed same-sex marriage.
Mr. Obama has consistently said he agreed with gay unions, but not same-sex marriage.
According to Fox News, callers to the popular urban station expressed disappointment in Obama, with some saying the president lost their votes.

Newark Mayor Cory Booker is an anomaly; at 43, he holds a prestigious job, makes a ton of money, but he is chronically single.
In 2012, a handsome man who is still single after the age of 40 is almost unheard of.
Mr. Booker has been the subject of rampant ghey rumors for years now. In a new interview by Obie Brook for EBONY magazine, Mayor Booker adds fuel to the rumors by balking at the mere mention of dating ladies.
EBONY: Forgive me, I have to ask this question because too many ladies out there would kill me if I didn’t: are you hoping to settle down and start a family in the near future?
CORY BOOKER: [Laughs] What “ladies”? Did my mother put you up to this? [Laughs] I just I think everybody wants to have that settled life and even God wants us to “have life and have it more abundantly.” Everybody wants to find their soul mate and I’m no different. That’s definitely what I want in the future.
Booker goes on to say he is looking for a “soul mate” to settle down with — not necessarily a female.
EBONY: Last year you mentioned being too busy to date. Have you found
that soul mate yet or are you still looking?
CORY BOOKER: Still looking for that soul mate.

Pastor Marvin Winans Assaulted and Carjacked in Detroit (Video)

Pastor Marvin Winans, who spoke at Whitney Houston’s funeral, was robbed and car jacked in Detroit this afternoon.
The shameful incident ocurred at a Citgo Gas Station at Linwood and Davison in Detroit. Winans, who was not seriously injured, said he went into the gas station to pay for his gas when he saw 10 young men milling around inside. “When I walked in I said this is not a good situation,” Winans told a local ABC affiliate.
He said 4 of the young men followed him outside to the pump where he was assaulted by the youths who stole his purple Infiniti QX56 SUV with license plate 0DRT73.
Detroit Police are searching for the suspects. Winans, 54, suffered a cut on his hand and the youths ripped his pants off of him. “I was indecently exposed,” said Winans, who described the incident as “quite savage.”
Winans said he didn’t think the youths knew who he was, “and if they did, it didn’t make much difference.”
“I’m not going to be afraid of us.. of our sons,” he said.

In 2009, one year after Barack Obama was elected president in a landslide victory, I posted these images of the president and the first lady Michelle Obama together. Body language enthusiasts can clearly see the involuntary signals that Michelle was sending at the time. Her closed body position clearly indicates some discord between the two. But when I pointed the signals out to my readers back then, they scoffed at me.
According to author Edward Klein, whose new book “The Amatuer” is about to hit store shelves, the Obamas once talked divorce.

Klein, who says his book is based on nearly 200 interviews with Obama associates and friends, wrote that Obama confided to friends that they were talking divorce. “Michelle actually had divorce papers drawn up,” Klein writes, citing one of her friends.
The problem? In 2000, after 8 years of marriage, Mr. Obama stubbornly decided on his own to run for the senate in a primary on Chicago’s South Side. But Mrs. Obama forbade him, probably because she knew he was inexperienced. She was right: Obama lost the primary and the couple became mired in debt.
One of the main causes of divorce in America is finances — or the lack thereof. Another major cause of divorce is infidelity.
